Digital video glasses now pose a potential competition in portable video output media, but even with the fact that the technology hasn’t out-functioned our well trusted HD screens, the basic idea of a portable viewing device sure is very appealing, and it is exciting to think of its possibilities in the near future. One of the pioneers of this constant improvement is the Vuzix digital video goggles, and today we shall look at the factors why people buy Vuzix iWear AV230 XL Video Glasses.

Standard screen resolution
The AV230 XL has the average 320×240 pixel resolution screen that is common for most of the video eyewear models out there. I mean, if this is the regular or standard, it sure warrants a good inspection from the consumers, and having a 320×240 doesn’t necessarily mean that the quality is bad in any way anyway. The display simulates a 44 inch screen that is about 2.7 meters away, leaving you and your movie in a “separate dimension” where you can view the movie all on your own.

Features an OLED (organic light emitting diode) display
This is probably the best selling point of the device. OLED displays have been known to out-function the common LCD displays (not just in LCD virtual glasses) in the sense that they already have built-in lights to illuminate the screen while at the same time keeping the user from excessive eradiation. You have to take note of the composition though, because of the relative low pixel quality, objects of finer detail are often presented in blurry images, so you probably can’t view your work papers or documents while on a trip with these glasses (and reading while on a moving vehicle is bad for your eyes anyway).

Uses a detachable AA battery
Very convenient in a way that you can easily switch batteries when needed, unlike some models with built-in batteries where you’ll have to always hook it up to a charging station for continuous use. The AV230 XL has low power consumption so you’ll probably last for around 6-8 hours on a single AA battery.

Provides a rubber eye shield
This is for those people who want to totally sink themselves in that separate dimension that the AV230 XL provides. Just install properly onto the unit, and strap on face, just be careful not to get too immersed, or you might be the last to leave the plane.

Well, I can say that the overall features aren’t really that bad, especially if you consider the fact that it costs much less than the other high performance models out in the market. I would most definitly advise you buy Vuzix iWear AV230 XL Video Glasses and add them to your portable entertainment arsenal.

Another dimension where you can enjoy the goodness of your movies all by yourself, that is one of the greatest features of the ez vision eyewear. These video glasses literally present a virtual screen where you can enjoy all kinds of entertainment media that would require a video output to work. Knowing the reason why to buy the ezGear TH100 G1 – ezVision Video Glasses would only take a few points of observation of the features that it presents.

Larger virtual screens for better enjoyment
The TH100 G1 basically features a virtual 50 inch screen that is perceived by the eye of about 8.5 feet away. There are actually two images that are displayed simultaneously in a synchronization technique known as stereopsis, in which the lenses in the unit bend the image so that you can see it the way it is virtually perceived by the naked eye. In other words, it’s like packing a large cinema size screen right at your fingertips!

Extreme media compatibility
But perhaps the best feature of the TH100 G1 is its ability to be used on almost anything that has video output in it. You can try your own laptop, your desktop computer, game consoles like the Playstation, the Xbox, Nintendo and Sega Entertainment Systems, DVD players, VCD players, you name the media, you’ll only need to properly plug the appropriate connection cable for that certain device. Additionally, it can also connect to the classical portable media like iPods and iPhones.

Very portable and lightweight
While it might still be far from the half-sunglasses half computer counterparts in movies, the TH100 G1 still is very light, at only 4 ounces of almost insignificant weight, you can practically bring it anywhere you want, or slip it into a nice slim container, the storage options are quite limitless.

Never bother neighbors and housemates again
Feeling a little insomniac and want to kill time while waiting for your biological clock to sound the alarm? Hook up the TH100 G1 to any game console in your house, and you can start gaming without your housemates ever noticing the irritating flashing screen that they see in the living room! You can even play while lying down completely, without ever changing the perspective of your virtual screen!
The price is quite established for a techy product, but that is not to say that it is totally unaffordable (seeing that it is a model of ezvision goggles anyway). However, do prepare a good amount of cold cash once you finally decide to purchase one.
